I found her name by coinsidence yesterday, I am so happy. Ever since I saw Wolbes' work at Tate Modern in 2002, it stayed in my mind for a long time till now, and I never wrote down the name, so I didn't expect to find it. Yesterday, a friend was looking at it as a reference for Modern Art, and told me that it is not CG but all real material used and shot often underwater, I was even more happy. It was like looking at your own body cells for ages, but in a slightly dreamy way, and made me feel very warm and happy. Reminds me a little bit of Pippilotti Rist's work in the way that it feel very warm and humorous. I can't believed I missed Wolbers solo show at Maureen Paley in 2011... When was that on??
